About Us

Greg Cocotis is the man behind "My Generator Guy".

He is very skilled mechanically. He started working on tools in 1976 with Furber Saw. In 1983, Greg founded Bay Saw & Tool Repair. He sharpened blades, and worked on small equipment. Over the years, his company has grown, and has expanded the lines of equipment that the shop works on.

We now work on any electric, gas, hydraulic, and pneumatic tool that we can get parts for. We work on everything from hand tools to small industrial equipment. We do warranty work for a wide variety of companies.

We have been working with portable & RV generators for many years. We started working with Generac brand generators in 1990. We started servicing standby generators in 2006. And we started selling & installing them in 2007. At that point, we founded PowerHouse Construction in 2007 to allow us to perform turnkey installations. We now service the greater San Francisco bay area.

We are factory authorized, and we have 4 factory trained technicians. We are fully supported by the manufacturers technical departments. So we have all the knowledge, training, and resources necessary to assist you with any generator questions and issues you may have.
